Introduction
My name is Nick Ball and I have worked in the financial services industry for the past 14 years. I am fully qualified, having passed the Financial planning Certificate (FPC), the Advanced Financial Planning Certificate (AFPC) and the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice (CEMAP). I live in Bristol and am married with 2 adult daughters. In my spare time I am an instructor with the Duke of Edinburgh scheme as well as being involved in debt counseling. Looking back over the past 14 years it is amazing to consider how much has changed in the industry. In June 1991 the FTSE 100 index stood at 24871, interest rates had fallen to 11.5%2, and the average house price was £55,4183 as opposed to June 2005 when they stood at £186,2074.
This aim of this site is to enable people to obtain basic financial information to enable them to plan their financial future and to be able to ask questions and discuss their concerns through email which I will answer personally.
